At the prestigious Château de Pibarnon, in Bandol, with Eric, the owner, and a lovely group from North Carolina.
Would you like to discover the secrets of Provence wines?
From Corsica, which produces some of the very best French white wines, to Châteauneuf-du-Pape, which makes the famous world-class reds, passing by mountain Sainte Victoire, celebrated by Paul Cezanne and where the very best rosé wines are elaborated, I would be delighted to organize your personalized wine tour.
30 years of farming, winemaking, and distributing Provence wines will permit me to open up for you the doors of hidden vineyards, as well as the most famous ones, with a warm welcome by the owners.
All tours are “à la carte” which means that we will design it together depending on the time you have, the number of people in your party, and your preferred areas. We can also combine winery visits with some local tourism.
Here are some ideas of possible visits, from East to West in Provence :
Bandol
Sainte Victoire Mountain near Aix en Provence
Gigondas and Vacqueyras, nestled in the Dentelles de Montmirail
Châteauneuf du Pape near Avignon

Thank you, Jean Marc, for the most wonderful day with you that we could never have arranged ourselves. And we came away with new knowledge and special travel memories. It makes such a difference when traveling to meet people who live there and share their history and passion for the area. All of your experience on vineyards and making and selling wine is such a gift to share with others, plus your joie de vie! 🙂 We can not wait to plan our next adventure with you–the pictures above have our group debating all the great choices! Cheers to you, and MERCI!
thank YOU FOR ALL THE INFO ABOUT WINE, YOU ARE THE EXPRT!!! BUT READING IN THE 24/7 FRENCH SITE, ABOUT NEW non acholic STORES OPENING UP AROUND PARIS, juan marc, YOUR THOUGHTS????
Thank you Jeane-Marc, and Kristi, for the wonderful and very informative tour in Chateaneuf-du-Pape. It was a day that will be with us for many years.
Your tour was much more detailed and informative than I imagined. Jeane-Marc, you are a treasure of wine knowledge, and your connections with local producers makes the experience even more authentic and interesting.
Thank you for such a fun time and great memories.
We traveled to Aix en Provence in the summer of 2018 to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary. Despite a fall while still in Paris that caused a broken wrist and a compression fracture in my back, we had a wonderful trip seeing the beautiful Provence region. We even got to watch a lunar eclipse near the base of Saint Victoire. I think I need/deserve a do-over, une refonte! If/When we return, we would love to do one of your wine tours! J’aime la France!
Kristi,
if i could, i would join your group to go to Chateau Neuf du Pape. It is such a delicious wine.
I still have the “bouquet” in the mind, at least.
thank you for the article.
may be one day, i will come to your place, meet you and jean marc and share the good life.
Have a great time.
jean.
