Welcome home Kristin….would love to be in the South of France as well! Soon I hope!
A bientot,
Sandy
The weather there looks lovely. It was +18 the other day at noon in Mirabeau, although with frost at night. Here in Ameliasburgh Ontario its a warm +1 and cloudy with intermittant sleet showers. Spring must be coming.
Bienvenue! Nyons is famous for its olives and scourtins. The tour of the scourtin “factory” is marvelous!
Qu’est-ce que c’est qu’un scourtin, s’il vous plait?
We passed over each other at a certain Mexican airport. You arrived and I left. You returned home to France, and I have just arrived in Paris in the 7th. Tomorrow I visit Madame KF in the 6th. We will give you a Champagne Salut! I am now writing FRENCH WINE MY WAY for BP. I brought your book along to read, so it is a crazy little world. I love your whole story, and I know there is more to come. You, KF and Cara B inspire me. Woof Woof!
c’est une paillasson (wicker basket) used to press olive oil, traditionally.

Also shortbread olive cookies, which sounds un peu degeu to me…
Oh, what a view! It reminds me of a dessert of pistachios and orange sherbert. I would love to stand at this exact spot.
Wonderful Balcon
